Color War

Color War

Don't hesitate to risk – and you may reach success. Don't build straight up, try different ways, curve sideways, wait for the right moment – that moment you've been waiting for, for so long... Oh my God, it seems it'll never come! And when you've almost given up... Flash! Just feel the power – the power of lightning. You enjoy looking at how a whole new scenario is left for you – and you can keep building, risking, winning. It provides you with the energy you need to keep fighting – fighting against... you don't even know it. But you keep fighting, maybe against chance, maybe against time, maybe against yourself, who knows. And you feel lucky. You are lucky. But luck leaves you as fast as it came. And you're done. The game is over... Is this the end? No at all, this is just a new beginning.

The game takes place on a 9x9 stage. Squared pieces begin falling from top to bottom. They can be red, green, blue, yellow, brown, purple or ice. The longer you've been playing, the faster the pieces will fall. You can score by clearing pieces when:

1. There are four or more pieces of the same color in contact, and

2. At least one of these pieces is marked with a lightning symbol.

There is also another kind of pieces: they're black and they can't be cleared during the game, but when the game is over they all are automatically cleared to turn into extra score.

When a piece is falling, you're able to move it sideways, just by tapping the column where you want it to be placed. Once a piece's been placed, it can't be moved.

Well, there's something you should know before going on. You don't actually get very much score when you clear four red pieces, for example. The game suddenly makes sense after introducing the concept of combo. You do a combo when, by clearing some pieces, those placed on top fall and come into contact with other pieces of the same color and, as a result, more pieces are cleared. It's like a chain reaction, or like a butterfly effect. Every consecutive combo you do, the score you get will increase exponentially.

So nothing is as easy as it could seem. If you don't risk, you won't succeed. And if you do, you may. So you have to cleverly place every piece at its right location. And you have to be patient, you have to wait for the right moment. And if you do, the global high scores leadership will be close enough to touch.

This is the next Tetris lol.

I'm not too good at it myself, but its pretty fun. I think someone smart could get some insane scores on this game.
